Kentucky Derby Contest - Results

Even with the extremely muddy racetrack, #7 Justify had no problem defeating the field of 20 horses to win the 144th running of the Kentucky Derby on Saturday afternoon.  To round out the field of horses that finished in the money, were #6 Good Magic to place and #5 Audible to take show.  As for our contest congratulations goes to:

1st - Jay Pomranka who selected the winner plus the place horse for a total of 38 points
What Jay means to me:  Jay and I worked together at CMS / HP in the early 90's thru the late 90's.  Jay has used my mortgage services for a purchase and a                          refinance or two.  Jay and I have also shared experiences of working through issues assocatied with dealing with aging parents.  May God bless you and                              your family.
2nd - Chris Munson who selected the winner as well as the show horse for a total of 30 points
What Chris means to me:  Chris and his family were neighbors in Mead from the mid 90's to the early 2000's.  I was able to bring a buyer to their house in                           Mead so they could move to Loveland.  Chris did all the tile work for our house when we were building it and I appreciated his workmenship and would                               recommend him to others who could use his services.  It has been nice staying connected with him and his wife for the last 20 plus years.  God bless you and                     your family.
*3rd - Sam Williams who selected had the winner plus beat out the other people through tie breakers for 25 points
What Sam means to me:  Sam is a realtor in the Loveland area and I was introduced to her by someone I had worked with at CMS / HP as his son was now                            wanting to purchase a house.  Sam is great to work with as she is patient and kind, as it can be challeging dealing with 1st time home buyers with all their                            questions.  Thanks Sam and would love to work with you again in the near future.  God bless you and your family, as well.

Thanks to the rest of you who participated and stay tuned for other contests!
